Chicken Broccoli Casserole

1 whole chicken, cooked, deboned, shredded
1 bag frozen broccoli florets
2 cans cream of chicken soup
7-8 slices American cheese
salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Boil broccoli in a pot until tender. Drain.
Place shredded chicken in the bottom of a 13x9 inch casserole dish. Liberally salt and pepper. Layer cooked broccoli over the chicken. Pour both cans of cream of chicken soup over the broccoli, spread evenly. Evenly place the cheese slices over the top of the casserole.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
