Granny's Pecan Pie

a note: ok, I'm totally in love and have been COMPLETELY spoiled rotten my entire life by this pie..... No other pecan pie does it for me or ever will.... in all of my exsistance, there has only ever been one Pecan Pie....and That's GRANNY's Pecan Pie. Lucky for us all...she's the generous sort who shares recipes...Hey! guess thats where I get it from...hehehe

Ingredients:
*1 cup sugar
(SECRET INGREDIENT ALERT!)
*1/2 cup PRIDE OF DIXIE white corn syrup (if you have to..like me..use the regular stuff..but it won't be as good...Next time you're in Arkansas....)
*3 eggs, beaten well
*1/4 cup melted butter
*1 cup fine chopped pecans (no Halves! chop those babies up!)
*2 unbaked pie crusts

Directions:
Mix together your ingredients and pour half into one pie crust and the other half into the second pie crust.
Bake at 350 degrees F for about 40 minutes or until golden brown.
And thats all she wrote... :o)
